We have been asked to decorate for the Spring Formal (prom) this year and they are expecting around 600-800 kids. Lots of stakes are involved this year. We had to come up with the theme so we chose "Puttin' On The Ritz" and will decorate it black, white and highlighted with red. I went to purchase silhouette dancers all around the room, but they were a little costly so my good friend Tami went with me to Home Depot and we bought the wood and she made these BEAUTIFUL dancing silhouettes. We will have other dancers too as well as a couple of top hats we are going to use and then also have chandeliers on shepherd hooks around the room too. We are dropping the ceiling with lights and organza material with a chandelier in the center. This is a huge venue and we've never done one this big before so it's quite intimidating to say the least!! I can't wait to see the final results though - cross your fingers it will turn out well! Here's one of the dancing silhouettes. Didn't Tami do an amazing job?!!! LOVE IT!!! We also have some old fashioned cars that are going to be out there and of course the red carpet as they come in.
