Girls Camp 2011

I was asked to help at girls camp this year with my ward.  I went up on Thursday and came home today.  It was fun spending time with my girls and getting to know the other girls in the ward better too.  The weather was beautiful during the day, but at night, my little piggies were C-O-L-D!!  I even put double socks on but it didn't help.  The stake did a great job organizing everything.  The girls had a great time.  They brought a little pool to soak their feet after hike day.  Lindsay was a YCL this year and loved it.  This was Hailey's 2nd year and there is only one other girl in the ward her age, but she gets along with her really well and they had fun together.  Glad I got to spend time with them at girls camp!  Such a fun experience!  The reason Sister Foote is in so many pictures is because she kept jumping in all of the pictures so it was the joke of camp that if there was a picture to be taken, she was going to poke her head in there - which she did!  She's so funny!

Just being silly

Here is Lindsay who apparently was playing with the camera.  Yes, it doesn't just happen when they were little, teenagers apparently play with my camera too!  She will probably shoot me for posting these, but maybe next time she will quit playing with my camera, huh?!!  ;o)  Sweet revenge being a mom some times!!

My Good Bye Lunch

After 18 wonderful years, I said good-bye to my co-workers and retired from Abbott Labs.  They were so awesome and took me out to lunch and even flew a rep in from Albuquerque and Tucson to be with  me.  That meant so much to me!  I'm going to miss them.  I had worked with most of them the entire 18 years I had been with Abbott and they had become family to me so it was tough leaving them.  I have great memories of Abbott and I am so thankful I had the chance to work there and meet such great people!

Easter Bunny Candy!

Check out these cute little Easter Egg peep jars I made.  I thought they turned out so cute!  I gave them to my home teaching and visiting teaching families.

Stake Relief Society Transition Dinner

We were asked to help decorate for the Stake Relief Society Transition dinner in May.  Here are some pictures from the event.  Fun pink, black and white decor, huh?  Love how it turned out!  They served a potato bar and salad for dinner and yummy Village Inn pies for dessert!  Delicious!
